Wedding flowers with a difference.

Just wanted to share some flowers we did for a wedding this week. The bride wanted texture over flowers when it came to her bouquets. Her brief asked for minimal flowers and she wanted an "organic" look to her wedding bouquets and arrangements. We created bouquets using Succulents, Eucalyptus nuts, Ivy berry, autumn Hydrangea, Corokia. The flowers we added were Lisianthus and Freesia in white to "soften" the look of the bouquets.
When it came time to the arrangements we had a lot of fun! We used hollowed logs with flowers and foliage similar to that used in the bouquets spilling from one end.
It was a great wedding to work on, not just because of the choice of flowers and foliage used but also because the bride was so easy to work with. It's a rare bride who is willing to instantly trust you to deliver her brief.
